271/365 Would I lie to you?
September 28, 2010

I bought a new netbook for school. I absolutely love it. It comes with a webcam but actually I got a webcam as a gift – so I had to play around with it. So here I am, sipping on some water. Trying to get healthy!!!

Oh and I was tagged a while back from some of my flickr friends (you know who you are!) to post one lie and 9 truths about me. So here we go….can you pick which one is the lie?

1. I adapted a story into a play for my 4th grade class.

2. I got in a car accident the first day I got my driver’s license.

3. I’ve never been to Disneyworld.

4. I can mimic a few different accents, but only will do it while driving.

5. I have a 200 page manuscript that is collecting dust in my basement

6. I love to swim, but I’ve had to be rescued twice from the water. Once in the ocean, once in a swimming pool – both under the age of 5.

7. I colored my hair red when I was in 7th grade.

8. I once had my tongue pierced.

9. I’ve been known to read novels in one sitting.

10. My eyes are brown but for a short time I wore blue contact lenses.

Brown Eyed Girl

Brown Eyed Girl
Hey where did we go,
Days when the rains came
Down in the hollow,
Playin’ a new game,
Laughing and a running hey, hey
Skipping and a jumping
In the misty morning fog with
Our hearts a thumpin’ and you
My brown eyed girl,
You my brown eyed girl.

Whatever happened
To Tuesday and so slow
Going down the old mine
With a transistor radio
Standing in the sunlight laughing,
Hiding behind a rainbow’s wall,
Slipping and sliding
All along the water fall, with you
My brown eyed girl,
You my brown eyed girl.

Do you remember when we used to sing,
Sha la la la la la la la la la la te da

So hard to find my way,
Now that I’m all on my own.
I saw you just the other day,
My how you have grown,
Cast my memory back there, Lord
Sometime I’m overcome thinking ’bout
Making love in the green grass
Behind the stadium with you
My brown eyed girl
You my brown eyed girl

Do you remember when we used to sing
Sha la la la la la la la la la la te da.
